Who are we?
Yo' Mama's started as Jazzy Fish & Chicken down at the
famous Seabreeze Jazz Festival in Destin and Panama
City, Florida in 2007. Each year it was the most popular
vendor with a fast-moving and seemingly endless line
serving an average of 600 plates a day.
Jazzy Fish & Chicken eventually became a restaurant
reality starting in downtown Birmingham, Alabama as
Yo' Mama's Restaurant, serving fresh meals made from
scratch.

Fried Fish Plate
Crispy on the outside, tender and delicious on the inside. Fresh tilapia fillets golden fried or grilled. Served with fries, slaw and homemade tartar sauce.
Fish Tacos
Tilapia, grilled or fried, topped with POE Sauce, salsa fresca and slaw. Served on warm tortillas, with a side of black beans and rice. Flour or corn (GF) tortillas.
Shrimp Tacos
Shrimp, grilled or fried, topped with POE Sauce, salsa fresca and slaw. Served on warm tortillas, with a side of black beans and rice. Flour or corn (GF) tortillas.
Shrimp & Grits
Perfectly cooked grits mixed with white cheddar, asiago, and cream cheese. Topped with shrimp, spicy sausage, red & green bell peppers, & onions.

Juicy shrimp grilled or fried to perfection. Served with fresh cut fries, slaw and homemade tartar sauce.
Shrimp Pasta
Delicious grilled shrimp marinated in our homemade lemon sauce. Topped with fresh alfredo sauce and pasta.

Belgian waffles with deep pockets to fill with our homemade syrup, fruit toppings (blueberries or strawberries +1.50) and topped with 6 golden fried chicken wings.
